visit visa
my husband is a US citizen and a Canadian citizen as well. he applied for my I-130 and its hard to be apart for so long so we've been looking for ways for me to go see him.
people are telling me I probably won't get a visit visa for the US with a pending I-130, is that true?
does anyone know if I can get a Canadian visit visa instead? or will they consider immigrant intent?

A Canadian visa might work for you…definitely not a US visa. You can’t apply for a visiting visa to the US if you have a pending immigrant application with USCIS.
