Visa freezes for 75 countries
Hi All,
By now it is well known to everyone that the current administration freezes the immigration Visas for 75 countries. This is still not sure that if that applied for those who will be applying from out of the Country or within the USA. My country of birth is on that list and I recently submitted AOS but not sure what to expect next.
Any kinds of info will be appreciated

it affects if you are not inside in USA. Approval of I485 does not require any visa. He freezes visa for almost all countries except China and India, where waiting time is very high. if it affects I485, then who will get green card?

applications to USCiS are typically not included . These temporary holds are on applications at embassies across those 75 countries - not applicantions inside U.S. which includes AOS petitions

my son recently got approved he’s in Jamaica and his case is sent to the department of state as of Jan 13. he’s a minor
will this affect him too 😞
