VISA FOR MY FATHER. PLEASE HELP
Me and my wife waiting for our EB3-1 case to be approved. We want my father to come to visit us for two weeks, we have an appointment for him for a B1/B2 tourist visa.
He had been rejected for the visa once back in 2020 and the consul told him that I changed my status in the US that's why he can't give him the visa. Is it fair? I moved from F1 to EB3-1.
QUESTION: Is there any way to contact the Congressman or any service so I can guarantee that my father will leave the US after 15 days of visiting us?
I really don't want him to get denied a visa for 2nd time. The upcoming visa appointment is in 10/10/2022

Do you still keep F1 status or no more? I am also F1 and I plan to go to work because I do not want study anymore? Thank you for your advice!

unfortunately the acceptance and rejection for visas are always under the discretion of the cousul.
let him try again and hope for the best, as long as he is Sincere with the answers he will be granted a visa.

I applied for my dad he got it right away. I am on h1b status and filed my eb2-1 back on April. I provided invitation letter and stated that he will be returning back. I included where he is gonna stay and how long he will stay. we provided round trip plane ticket during the interview. he also documented all real estates he has and all saving and checking accounts statements. he is a rich man tough.

I agree with @Safa, he has to provide a lot of documents confirming his ties to his home country. having a green card holder relative in the US is always seen as a negative thing by consuls, congressman cannot help here
