They are not closed till April 15 that was false info that someone was spreading out. Ppl are already stressed abt their case, why someone will go ahead and say that is beyond me. Pls guys take any info you get from here with a grain of salt to avoid heart attack.

To be honest, my case got approved within 4 months only, by the same SC “Vermont”, my son’s case is stuck for 8 months now

@mohamed Alderwood, did you link your child case to your first petition? my husband and I made a mistake and we just submitted our child I130 but we attached a letter to request a link with my case. my case changed on Jan 7 to actively reviewed and when we submitted today for my child we had the same status "actively reviewed".

@Mou, no we didn’t link them together, they said we have to file a separate petition for my son, we are trying now to link them in the NVC process (we already sent them an inquiry since Dec 15, 2021, but still we didn’t get any update)
