when did you applied, what's your PD did you receive prima facie?

@jane M they do not ask for the same but for more evidence. if you will send the same, most likely you will be denied. “evidence not sufficient” means they need more

@m&m s My lawyer asked me for $5,000 to submit the evidence, which is impossible for me to afford. So I need to try to send it myself now.

@jane M try to collect more evidence: affidavits, pictures, something that will show address to prove shared residence, another evidence that will prove battery: maybe text messages, emails, any police report. honestly as much as you can collect. even if you think it is not strong. You can also include evidence you already submitted in case of but you have to add also more

I will advise you to submit the same evidence. write the same story and ask people to write good moral character for you, it might be your friend, pastor or relatives but must be motorized. if you can do that you will get your vawa approved, you don’t need a Lawyer, anyone writing for you about good character must write about your marriage and write good things about you and Notorize it. good luck. you don’t need to pay a lawyer trust me.

you should submit more evidences. you can get a letter from VAWA non profit organizations that can provide it. you can send texts or phone calls. did you send a lease agreement, bank statements, taxes, pictures, police reports?

@jane M so it happened to me as well last November, resent the same things (lease, bank statement, life insurance, car insurance, pictures, my pastor affidavit etc.) They still denied me😭but I got a lawyer since I did everything on my own at first. We appealed just waiting on decision

for that category (said no dates on pictures) for shared residence (said dates are conflicting) had 2 lease because we moved Dec21 for good faith (said pics don’t have dates)

@m&m tbh I don’t even think receiving them matters or is a sign of approval. I had a few and look how they treated me (my case)

please re submit all the documents with your doctors evaluation certificate , it might help you , some times USCIS will check weather you saved all your old documents, so that if you resend them again , USCIS people will compare those are proper or fake ones

so what is your lawyer saying about uscis not receiving anything u sent??

Your case is 5 years ago, so probably it changed Adjudicating Officer, resend everything you sent in the first application again and put more personal statement along with it

This is not just a formality. When USCIS says the evidence is insufficient, you should respond fully, even if you already submitted similar evidence before. Do not assume they will go back and find everything. I would resend the strongest evidence, reorganized by eligibility requirement: qualifying relationship, good-faith marriage, shared residence, battery/extreme cruelty, good moral character, and your personal declaration. Include a detailed cover letter with tabs and a timeline. If the old evidence was scattered, the RFE response should make it easy for the officer to approve. I didn’t send anything 😊 I’m in my homeland almost 1.5 year . I wanted try but , I don’t want come in USA anymore . thanks god I’m here with my family after 10 years . good luck all of you friends, its was my decision and I did everything that I will never come back in USA . the country was very stressful for me
