infact I'm speechless, I thought vawa should be a source of relief to abused spouse and not to add to the abuse as one is getting more frustrated with the years of delay

madness I just try keep my self busy with work not to think about it because this is so frustrating and when they approved you have to wait another year for i485 to approve

Sometimes I think most 2020 files can’t be found, because it’s was when covid started and their office was closed due to the pandemic. I heard some uscis officers were working from home, so when the lock down was over, how are we sure these files returned back to the office? is it’s just in their house and they can’t be trace it. Vawa has to be the most frustrating process m, because he doesn’t make sense for an applicant to go through abuse and yet uscis makes the applicant wait forever.

@Dre O, I some how agree with you. Why our cases taking forever? where are our files? VAWA applicant supposed to be priority in this USCIS’s journey bcuz we have already gone through a lot of abuse, stress and trauma and now we’re going through another stressful journey in the hands of immigration. This is very frustrating, cruel to us and unfortunately not understandable! God is our only hope for this journey.🙏🙏🙏🙏

I'm writing to everyone about any case that you have pending. Please take the time to write your local congressman about your pending USCIS case. We need to put pressure on this system. Look up your local congressman, they should have a web page where you can discuss an issue. Choose immigration or anything close and give a brief description of your case. Include your case #. We need to band together to create change. SPREAD THE WORD! Do this today lets help each other out.
