if you have your c31 and your vawa is approved then you’re cleared to file your i485 now if you don’t you won’t get your GC

don’t matter you don’t have legal status in America if you don’t have a green card. having the vawa approve will stop you from being in deportation proceedings but that’s it and allows you to have a work permit but that’s it. your i485 will now be based on your approved Vawa. not on your past i130. so don’t worry

lots of people got there i130 denied and file vawa because of an abusive relationship and they got through they won’t ask u about your past marriage and stuff I think not 100% sure. but you have to file your i485 to become a permanent resident then 3 years after u file for citizenship
