They will probably ask you the requirements for VAWA Application. 1. Marriage /wedding certificate 2. proof of Good Faith Marriage I.e pictures / letters from Friends & Family & children born during the marriage 3. Proof that Abuser is US Citizen or Green Card Holder eg US Birth Cert, US Passport, Green Card & ID 4. Evidences of abuse: eg police Report for Physical Abuse, hospital Report, Emotional Cruelty ( letters), Psychological Report etc 5. Your Divorce from previous marriage (s) 6. Birth Cert of applicant 7. Proof of Shared Resident 8. Joint Finance eg Joint Bank Acct 9. Shared Bills eg Joint Life Insurance, Joint Health Insurance, Joint Phone Bill , Joint Utility Bill( Gas & electricity)

@olu mikk in most cases, they request for the same documents that have been submitted. Try talking to people that know about your marriage & the abuse to give you notarized Letters to buttress your application

@olu mikk Good Faith Marriage as to do with marrying your partner genuinely and this can be depicted by showing that you did things together such as pictures of wedding & those taken in other events, Joint lease , Joint Health Insurance, Life Insurance,Birth Certificate of kids and letters from people that knows about your marriage
