Yes I did. submitted vawa in 2023. Did a foia in June 2025. I belives it boosts your application if it had been dormant

you can do it, but signature on notarized identity verification document has to match your signature in the vawa package

I had only got notices prior. since the foia I got my biometrics and awaiting Ead.

@M N hello I submitted a FOIA request last month regarding my U visa case. I filed my U visa in 2019, but when I check the receipt number in the USCIS case tracker, it shows as invalid even its after 6 years but still no update just biometric. However, in the FOIA response, it shows that my case is under review by an officer. That has been my experience.

I did . very good to see what they have inside . you a File . it doesn’t not delay or speed your process . it’s a diferent department.

I could even see after my 360 approval. in my 485 some important date . resident as of date ……… . but still waiting to confirm that . no approved yet

@v p it doesn’t show in any page or form , you get 3-4 separate files and you have to read each line you will find in 1 page from 1500
