wow so sorry you got denied. did you receive a prima Facie when you first submitted your application? I know you can resubmit your case but this time you need to send a good amount of evidence the abuse occur…did you have any police report? witness who saw the abuse ? did you have abuse picture ?

Omg, that's just wrong. If you don't have a lawyer, please hire one immediately and seek advice. I pray you get a reason you can easily appeal. Guys, PF doesn't mean anything. It just says "on face value". May we not encounter a mean officer.

@Mac Fredrick the onli suapicious thing In my RFE is. my landlord never saw the face of my wife he said to the USCIS officer when he contacted . he never saw the face but a woman use to live with him, to support my landlord statement he gave affidavit also. after RFE submission (USCIS officer from Vermont ) reached out to landlord as well my landlord explained same thing . I don’t really know where it went wrong. waiting for the denial letter from last 11 days.

At the same time, I don't think if there's any lawyer to be trusted once they seal a deal with you they stop answering your call and start forming busy. May God help us 🙏

@C Fox , they called everyone who gave me affidavits to make sure the affidavits were signed by them and the content in the affidavit was provided by them. I provided 6 affidavits .

@k k we will pull through this. USCIS typically shouldn’t call affiants. They should adjudicate based on the merit of the case before them. All they need is 50% justification and a pinch. I agree that most of these lawyers lack compassion and they take on more than they can cope with. There are however compassionate lawyers out there who will fight this denial for you. Let wait for the letter and see what the next step will be.

also I have a question. I opened an LLC With My EAD is that caused for denial. my EAD is valid till September -23

initially I submitted 6 affidavits after RFE I submitted 4 affidavits together 10 affidavit of supports and police clearance. submitted everything. I am not sure what strong evidence I can submit.

this case was not denied with the way it was said Approval or denial if it was denied the denial would come before approval it would show (denial or Approval)

I just received the letter. deficiency of evidence. as I got affidavit from my landlord USCIS said it was signed by someone else. that’s the reason they denied the case. to appeal they gave 33 days of time. June 2nd will be 32 days. I don’t even have a time. my attorney is not responding from last 30 days !!

I file 290-B on June 2. still I haven’t received the receipt notice, I have asked for 1 month grace period to submit the Proofs. also 30 days grace period starts from the day I submitted to USCIS. at the same time I have paid the fee with my Credit card still it’s not processed. it’s been 13 days. frustrated, they denied my case for a small reason.
