Vawa Case update
My VAWA green card interview was completed last year October 15,2025 at the Philadelphia field office and I didn't hear anything since then. I just got the update saying fingerprint was updated on your case. What does that mean? This process is draining especially with the whole shenanigans going on with the banned countries saga. Any advice or Anyone in this situation before should enlightened me

I feel like it's not fair to such a vulnerable population at all. I once asked my lawyer if there were any advocacy groups fighting for us and she said yes but I can't remember the details now. The stress is like a live bacteria eating us away. Even being approved I still feel so much stress. Anyway, contact your senator if you haven't done so so that they can send an inquiry on your behalf

I got my VAWA approved back in September 2023; got and RFE for medicals and responded in December 2024; and just on July 15; got an update saying fingerprint was updated on my case. Am from one of the travel ban countries. I hope we get our green card approval asap.

@Chris Femi thanks for your input. I had my interview already last October hopefully we hear from them. but how come we get the same update on the same day
