@Nana J can I suggest that you refile your I 765 application because I don’t think it’s supposed to be that long. Then maybe send your old receipt with it letting them know that you’ve applied before and maybe they’ll process your new application faster because they do misplaced applications. I applied at Nebraska and never gotten a receipt notice for months I then had to reapply. I’m still waiting for a decision though

@Nana J You should check with your lawyer whether your application for social and labor authorization has actually been submitted, as I have been waiting since November 2022 and I suspected it was taking a long time. I looked for another lawyer and he told me that my lawyer had only asked for a green card, which is why I never received a social card. Now I changed lawyers and he told me that it had taken 6 to 8 months to get my work and social authorization.
