I got 5 prima facie notices before getting approved last month

i got 3 PF, just came from outside US and everything went smooth on my return

yes I have 2yrs AP. was smooth the cbp agent sttd wow it’s a long time waiting for approval!! 😀

i was tense but they treat me very well. took me 10 min on secondary and that’s all. they asked where do I work, when I applied to I-485, and that’s it

@pablo I submitted tons of proofs. insurance, utility bills, bank acct, photos, affidavits, plus fbi fingerprints for good moral.

nice, i guess they will deny my vawa. i have submitted bank statements but it did not have many transactions as we were and i still use cash. No utility bills, no lease, we were staying at her friends place paying cash. no photos(she deleted them all. i have only 2-3 selfies). i got 3 affidavits only one of them notarized. fbi yes. i wrote detailed statement though. i guess its not enough for them

pablo Romero, you can never tell, it depends on the officer handling your file, if he is nice, but you should have kept pictures yourself, printed them out

and you maybe would have gotten a doctors report, if you suffered anxiety or high blood pressure from the abuse or depression

stay positive @pablo. God knows everything and nobody knows their methods to approve or deny. As @divine said, depends on the officer and be positive that everything will be fine 🙏🙏

@pablo, never be negative about yourself and whatever you want to achieve. I don’t your religious belief/faith, but I’m a believer of Jesus Christ who is better than my problems and he’s capable of doing anything we see as impossible. Believe and have faith in God. I didn’t have lease and insurance with my abuser, but with the photos, six months bank statements, affidavits letters I got and by the special grace and mercy of God who maketh all things possible, I was approved.

@Divine, sorry just saw your question. i got to know aboit background check when I inquired about my case. i responded for my rfe in September 2021. yes I submitted my psychological report with initla vawa filing. i am still dprrssed. i went to my annaul check up and broke and were crying when my physician were asking normal questions. i guess i need to get another report done. i am having low blood practice 100/60 which is very low

Pablo , get a letter from your Doctor to whom it may concern. To state your medical condition, as related to this whole abuse. the abuse you suffered escalated your situation

@pablo one thing I learned with this long process. each case is unique and don’t take as a denial just bc you don’t have the same docs that others submitted. You know what you went thru and trust on God that he always see everything! sometimes takes longer but don’t doubt about your case pls. you will be fine and soon we will hear here that you got approved too 🙏

hi @bekh yes I sent after I received the rfe. when I filed I sent some documents too, but they requested additional proofs , so this is why I decided to sent a lot of things to avoid more delays.

hope in justice: yes, but I didn’t send any documents when I filled i360. it was 2020 June. since 2020 I didn’t get RFE with deadline. I have not send still any documents: affidavits…..

@god is my lawyer my previous marriage was outside of US , in my country. They requested my divorce decree from there and divorce decree from my abuser previous marriage as well. I submitted both mine and his .

@god did yes, my Visa is still valid but I don’t think it matters , since you have a pending vawa case which works as a Visa . when you have AP I think you are fine just with the AP, but I’m not sure. Better you consult an attorney on this case.

so you don’t need to have a valid visa right? this is what I thought, since you have AP with a pending vawa !

a victory victory , so that just the documents u submitted to go approve. I heard people saying taxes are important while some say no depends on what the officer wants.

@babatunde I didn’t submit my tax return. I submitted my paystubs for the last 3 months, also I statement wrote by me both for good moral.

@babatunde on the rfe reqiest they mention what kind of docs proofs what they’re requesting, so I just followed their instructions and add some proofs that I had.

thanks so much @hope.. am on the verge of filing my but I just want to know all to prepare for.. am filing myself cus I don’t have cash to give attorney now my abuser put me in debt already. I have letter from my current employer and also driver Uber, friends have notarized witness to abuse and some for good moral character and my apartment manager wrote gave me a letter as well .. I have my Vawa phycology evaluation and am enrolling for therapy soon cus I need it , police clearance .. All evidence of abuse by text messages and finances . my supervisor is writing one affidavit to abuse and a friend of her is writing one for me and a friend that knows some too. i just need to compile and write my story well I think am good to go. Note: I was already called for second interview but I rescheduled it and I want to file in before uscis gives me another date . meanwhile I have messages where she said she not going to any fucking interview anymore. May God help is all
