Vawa approved!
i just got approved on 6 January i applied for c31 card but the case status says case was approved but no new card being produced! what to do in this situation! i called uscis on phone the lady says u have to tick for c31 i told her i did but she said no u don’t otherwise it would have shown new card is being produced! how can i make her understand now?

usually people get notification that their card is being produced and then the case was approved. Give them few more days but keep checking your status on uscis website

@I declare in name ‘ Jesus isn’t first new card is being produced status updates and then case was approved? i ticked in the form i360 for c31 to! i dont know if they forgot or somethinf

@Raw N Wait for your Approval Letter, you can use your approval letter along with Form I-765 to file for EAD under C31.

@Raw N the glitch is probably from the fact that i-360 was denied initially however if you have a current EAD you are using, just concentrate on the approval of your I-485 to get your green card as you won’t have need of the work authorization if you have your green card. Best wishes and congratulations for not giving up.

@ Raw N the C31 is automatically produced if on your i-360 you had checked to receive an EAD card, if you had not checked that box USCIS will not automatically send you the work permit. seems like you did not check the box to request an EAD be issued once the vawa is approved on the actual i-360 form.
if you have an C09 category that is expiring soon(within 180 days) renew it based on a pending i-485 that way you don’t lose your job.
