@leo they reused my biometrics for my EAD renewal however they called me again for a new biometrics around Oct 2021. I believe biometrics expires after sometime.

@star fruit I suffered emotional abuse from my ex-spouse. If you are unsure reach out to a health professional for you to be evaluated properly.

@beautiful things thanks , I suffered more than emotional, I got attacked by my wife but we are still marry.

from my understanding you should be able to show pattern of abuse. so you should be able to document those attacks by going to the police and/or going to the doctor for treatment.

I hav submitted lot of Evidence including police reports restraining order and photos as well. still not approved october 2020 guess it depends on the officer who works in your case

I’m approved since October 2019 for my i360, still waiting for my adjustment which was sent back on March 2018.

its been 370 days since my i485 has been moved to local office (chicago) who has it’s jurisdiction after Vawa approval.No updates no news :(

@harry I would check the processing times of 485 with your local office. if its beyond, reach out to your Congressman or senator in your area. That's what I did and I got a schedule in 1 month after the inquiry with my senator's office.

@alik reach out to an immigration lawyer for guidance. Before I submitted all my petitions, I consulted with a lawyer to have all my documents, forms and evidences checked and asked her opinion on how strong my case will be.

@harry just google senator for your zip code. They will have information on how you can reach out to them. Tell them you need them to make a federal inquiry to uscis on your behalf.

so what processing time does they count? is it after the vawa approval or when you filed i485 along with vawa because i files my i485 with vawa in April 2019 ?

you should look at 485 processing times in your local office. if your receipt date is earlier than the dates listed that means you can make an inquiry.

is you vawa approved already? If yes, 485 should be moved from Vermont to NBC to your local field office. If you got a notification that your case has veen transferred and your receipt date is falls on the receipt date for a case inquiry you should go ahead and make an inquiry about your 485.

my i485 receipt days says april 2019 but my i485 is moved to local office which is chicago in october 2020.and the processing for chicago is 9-20 months

follow your receipt date of april 2019.

no. they don't charge anything. they will only ask you to fill up and sign a form so they can make an inquiry on your behalf.

go to the police stations where you live in the past 5 yrs and asked for a copy if you have any arrest

about lawyers, i have nt heard about good lawyrrs like you mentioned. everyone i talked asking too much money . but i have fath in myself that i can do this

I submitted police clearance, doctor's diagnosis, therapist assesment, house lease, tax returns, divorce decree, copy of ex-spouse passport, marriage certificate, self-affidavit.

yes affidavits if anyone is aware and/or witnessed the abuse and your self affidavit as well. I didn't submit any affidavit from friends because I don't have friends as my ex-spouse prohibits me from seeing anyone.

I called the domestic abuse hotline and they connected me to my local shelter. There, they were able to provide assistance for my therapy, rehabilitation, and a small legal assistance regarding immigration. They offered their service free of charge. I strongly suggest for people who are in a situation where they feel trapped because of their spouses to reach out to the hotline. They provide different services who are in an abusive relationship regardless of the gender and immigration status.

My evaluation came from a psychotherapist. I also have assement from my primary care regarding the other health effects that I suffer due to the abuse

for my I 360 haven’t received nothing yet I got the recipe notice on 5-14-2021
