Hi! I have a question because your timeline caught my attention. Do you know why both your VAWA and I-485 were transferred to the National Benefits Center? I was under the impression that the NBC mainly handles adjustment of status (I-485) cases, so I was curious about why the VAWA was transferred as well. Also, during these 5 years, have you been receiving a work permit (EAD)? If so, was it under the C09 category the whole time, or have you ever received a C31 EAD? Have you also had Advance Parole? I’m asking because I’m trying to better understand timelines and how cases like yours are being processed. Thank you!

i was form 8/7/21 but my green card apvoed in 2/2/24

@Raj Maheta was your vawa transferred before approval? was your 485 transferred too?

@Eli Gonzalez I don’t know why both were transferred. people are saying possible combo interview for 360 and 485 coming soon, which I’ll be happy about. I’ve had 2 ead, one for 2 years, another for 5 years.

Probably a combo interview at your field office.NBC coordinates with Vermont Center to facilitate interviews.This is my personal opinion though,but wait for the transfer notice and see what it says.

@God in Action @Raj Maheta what about if we submit rfe Medical’s to nbc for i485 which was transfered before vawa approval

@d k amen, did you have both of your cases transferred on the same day to MO and got combo interview? 🤞

@C D My VAWA case was also transferred to NBC in October, still no update.

I’m still waiting since December 2020

when they approved my vawa I 360 they moved my case to MO and then back to NBC for the I 485 they send the green card from there without interview request

@d k I remember you . Did you have your interview yet ? did they reschedule?

@K- MB i had to reschedule. i first got a no show eventhough i had rescheduled properly and they received the request and after that interview cancelled.

@C D my 360 not tansfer even i did not know and 485 not update but they ask my medical at local office not nbc 485 took just 4 month for apvoed after vawa aproved

@Raj Maheta when they aprove your vawa ? and you said your I-360 got transfer or not before approve

@C D they approved the I 485 from NBC so I think they processed the medical form in MO and sent the case again to NBC

@K- MB apply 8/7/21 aproved 10/5/23 then 485 aproved 2/2/24
