Using Advance Parole to travel
Hello everyone,
I’d like to share my travel experience using my Advanced Parole. I was back in my home country for six weeks, and I returned to the U.S. via IAH Airport (Houston) on June 4th. Upon arrival, I presented my passport and I-131 document to the officer. They asked me two questions: where I had gone and what I had done while I was there.
After that, I was taken to a secondary inspection room where there were more than ten people waiting. I waited for about 15 minutes, and then they returned my documents and allowed me to leave.
So, if you're considering traveling, don't worry! As long as you haven't committed any crimes, you should be fine.

@Alma Alvarez I brought my passport, Advance Parole paper, I-485 receipt, I-765 receipt and my EAD card, but all they need is just the passport and the AP paper. Yes, I entered legal.

@T N is it really coming to IAH safe? I booked my ticket on July 22nd and come back to IAH .. but I'm scared..do you really know lot of people coming to Houston with Advance Parole?

@B P yeah. As long as you haven’t committed any crime, you are good to go. Don't be scared in the inspection room; just relax, and you will be fine.
