USCIS response to my inquiry
It looks weird. I submitted an inquiry about my EAD on Aug 21. Today I received a confirmation email from the USCIS, but the receipt number mentioned in the email is my i-485, not EAD. The email just confirms that they received my inquiry and will respond in 30 days time.

there is sometimes a generic email from USCIS when you contact USCIS EMMA and provided you phone no. & email.

@Fez H It's a generic email. Even sometimes you get it after chatting with Emma. It's unrelated to you ead inquiry.
