the stories I see are enraging sometimes. “we were together 4 months! green card in 6 months!” “overstayed my visa for 8 years then married a USC and got my green card in 2 months”. I’ve got 9 years together and 2 fucking kids. I’m so done.

oh. and a legal entry with a work visa. oh and a million dollars of taxes paid in my 10 years. ok vent over. I’m just tired.

@mariam T right? or what benefit you’ll do to America. I saw overstayed tourist visa for parents turn to a green card in less than 3 months. like… really? what are parents doing for America? watching your kids? I could go on and on and on. I just feel like my time should come soon soon but it seems like I’m not lucky… just becoming more and more bitter.

idk but it’s literally insane how many people are getting their approval within 30-60 days. I almost feel like withdrawing mine and resubmitting. I’m so tired too.

@Patiently Waiting haha no kidding!!! not a bad idea to be honest. but imagine if they waited another 500 days after that 😂😂😭😭😭

I really think they only approving people marrying under too years like they only want to give out 2 years green cards at this time 🥹

@Keisha Cain-Holton I’ve only been married to my husband a month before filing. we were engaged for 5 years and had a 4 year old at that point. just never did the wedding.

at this point I almost think it’s better if I get approved after my 2 year anniversary but before my medical expires because I’d have to get a bunch of new vaccines. found out through this process I haven’t been vaccinated against polio and I’m not “up to date” on covid because who is still doing those 😂😂

at this who knows we just to keep the faith it’s hard but what can we do 🥹

USCIS is just unfair the trend that I am seeing now, people submitting their applications this year are getting work permits in a month or weeks. then Greencard two weeks after I just don’t see where this make sense. when people are waiting years to even get biometrics done, I am happy for everyone but USCIS is not doing their jobs correctly. their actions left most of us to think what is the problem with our cases why it’s not getting approved.
