I got receipt notice for i90 & biometric ( they don’t need biometric previously have it in record ) . but it’s been 6 months waiting for my new green card . any one have similar experience ? how long usually take for replacement of green card ?

I got typo error to on my green card, they put November 26, 2018 instead of June 14, 2019, I filed my one with the 90 rules and they sent me a mail saying I filled to early and then I need to refile my application and they will refund the money but it’s been 9 months now they don’t give me my money. and I called them many times and they saying they will look and review my refund case and make a decision if they will refund me or not.

I got the same error, and I filed i90 for replacement on Sept 2021. Thery are still actively reviewing my case, it has been 7 months. My current green card will be expired in Jul 2022, and I saw post online saying that I can get a i551 stamp as a temporary evidence.

@jessie C yes you can get stamp on passport. call uscis & make an info pass appointment

Jessie CJun 7, 2022
Gosh. This is so frustrating. Since your card is expired, did you get the i551 stamp?
pooja pJun 7, 2022
Jessie C yes I have stamp until January 2023

Hi @Pooja I am in same boat, exact same timing, wrong dates 2020 to 2022 instead of 2021 to 2023. Filed I-90 in March 22. Still waiting.
However, I have a question - Are we supposed to file I-751 this year? because due to their error our card shows expiry of 2022
pooja pJan 18, 2023
@Atmiya Kachhadiya yes have to file i751 since there records said 2022 expiry
Atmiya KachhadiyaJan 20, 2023
@pooja I didn’t file I-751, my lawyer said it will be rejected as it’s just printing error and we ll send application next year with explanation. Did you get any update on your I-90 or i-751
pooja pJan 20, 2023
I 90 is expiring in march & no status change but I filed l 751 & it said finger print taken by uscis . mean while I took info pass appointment to uscis so they put stamped last month until end of 2023 .

@atmiya kachhadiya also I got letter from uscis because I filed 751 it’s automatically extended for 24 months . mean while I have stamped 551 on passport so I can travel & employment puropose .
pooja pJan 20, 2023
it will not reject if you file because there records have wrong year so as per them it’s time to file .
pooja pJan 20, 2023
good for us will become citizen 1 year early & if they say anything just tell I already gave i90 for replacement but no update & since I got letter to file 751 so I did that
