Uscis call center
I have a pending Vawa case since July 2021, this morning I called Uscis to ask questions or see how I can expedite my case as I am out of processing time, the officer introduced herself and asked me some questions like my full name , address,email and phone number, after providing her with that she said sorry you answered some questions incorrectly,call us back when you have the applicant on the line, I interjected ma’m I am the applicant and my information is correct,but she hung up, tried for the second time again, the next agent did thesame thing, is this new? has anyone experienced such? I am beyond frustrated at this point.

i just called and no one answered just the machine ,the thing is that the system doesn't understand,it only was letting me check the status which was not my case 😮💨

if your attorney applied for your vawa maybe he used his mailing address . try to use his address

it’s vawa they usually don’t respond on phone.you can either make an appointment or allow your lawyer do that for you.

@Oh lord show me mercy hi! USCIS is doing this to protect us and I thank them for doing this. Your info has to match with info that they have on file. Like it was said previously, if you have a lawyer, check with him if he gave his mailling address and maybe that's the problem. USCIS is protecting you and your case

that happened to me and it was the address. I had asked my lawyer to update new address and the never did so I called a third time and gave them my new address

Did the officers tell you which questions you didn't answer correctly? Sometimes you might have put a different answer than what they have. I will suggest you let your lawyer handle it.

@Bro Yaw They don’t even give you the chance to answer lol, they hung up on me immediately, the foolish lawyer said they will only speak to me

don't use your address if hour attorney uses her address whatever address is on your vawa receipt use that . also have everything you need before u call.

the agent input the incorrect information that what you gave or didn't hear clearly what you said and put the incorrect information. that's y it didn't match. when you call again speak slowly and spell the information to them.

@Oh lord show me mercy The info they've on file must match the info you provide over the phone. It might be the address (street name, number, zip code, etc).

if you have an attorney they might have the attorney’s address as your address and if you are giving them your personal address that might be the discrepancy. always give yours and lawyers.
