uscis agent phone call
Today I received a phone call from the immigration officer asking questions about my case. He asked if I had started working and information about the bdv, sent me an email asking for evidence, I forwarded my pay stubs, messages with my supervisor and answered the questions about the bdv.
Is this normal?

that’s weird. government agency will never call you to gather information. the only way they will contact you is through mail. not even email.

they said never call to you

Might be BDV agent trying to scare you so that you won’t leave job after your contract. 🤭

I got a call today from an uscis officer, at first I thought it was a scam, but the information he provided about my case was legit.

It's not a scam, the email really is from USCIS. It's a real email, I spoke to a lawyer and he said that this can happen.

@edu fruks did you have interview?
edu fruksAug 25, 2024
@tamyy t yeah, I did

@edu fruks What did they ask about BDV? I saw your comment regarding your interview last year where you mentioned that you used BDV as a consulting service to help you in this process. Is anything related to this?

@edu fruks Just found this on USCIS website:-
“Although some email addresses might look legitimate, example: news@uscis.gov, they are, in fact, a scam. The body of the email may contain USCIS and Office of the Inspector General labels, your address, and a fraudulent download button that links to a non-government web address (uscis-online.org). Do not respond to these emails or click the links in them.”

@EB3 Other Workers The email exists, the agent exists. He really has my case, it's not a scam!
edu fruksAug 27, 2024
@EB3 Other Workers Yes, he asked me again about the bdv, he said he needed to be sure of the information I provided.
How much did you pay BDV Solutions?
What was the money for? What did BDV tell you specifically that the money was for?
These were the questions

I just received an RFE for a medical exam, and the name of the agent who signed the RFE letter is the same name as the agent who called me.

Yea, USCIS knows about BDV
