USCIS access code
Hi,
I created a USCIS account and once I received my receipt numbers for I765, I131 and I485, I added those to the account. I keep seeing posts about an access code from USCIS needed to add the receipts. Is this any different from just adding the receipts to the account? if yes, how should I get this code?

from what i have heard if your receipt numbers begin with IOE then only you will get the access code in mail and you can use it.

are you talking abt the access code that uscis would send you on mobile via text? sort of like factor authentication.

I don’t mean 2FA but the code that’s supposed to have come by mail.

I don’t have that code either… when I asked my lawyer about it they gave me some explanation about only the company being able to receive the access code because they are the owners of the petition or something… didn’t make sense to me since my previous applications show up there, just not my current one.

interesting. I got an I140 approved through self petition(EB1-A). I’ll check with my lawyer

only when receipt starts with IOE that you get an access code
