USC (step father) petitioning step daugther under 21 🇵🇠#IR2
Hello everyone!
I hope someone here has the same case as my daughter. WE DESPERATELY NEED ADVICE 😞
My daughter’s I-130 petition was approved on May 2022 and case was transfered to NVC and was Documentarily Qualified June 2024, category IR2. WAITING FOR INTERVIEW LETTER. We tried several expedite request because we want her to be here with soon but no luck, always getting denied.
And so now my Sister(USC) petitioned our Father(currently living with my daughter and is my daughter’s guardian) who case was approved and will be having his Interview this October 2024.
I am afraid that my father is living the country soon and nobody will be there to stay with my daughter in the philippines. I tried to request to expedite the other day but got denied again even if I explained the situation and attached a proof of my father’s interview letter.
The process is talking a toll to my daughter’s well being now because she feels like everybody is living her and I don’t want her to feel and think that way. I tried all the options that I know to make the process faster but at this point I don’t know what else to do.
Please I really need advice. Can anyone help us please.

Trying the expedition is the best route at the NVC stage. keep trying, and write a more convincing letter, but if you keep changing the reason for your request you will become unbelievable and keep getting denied. but how far is the interview stage since you are DQed? Sometimes they will deny because of where you are in the process

@moonchild 23 What year is being getting interview letters now? If the caregiver gets an interview date before your child, it is possible to write to the embassy and ask that they issue the child's interview for the same day and send all the proof of him being her caregiver, along with sending the caregivers interview schedule. start building your proof on that basis such as your daughter sharing a bond with the caregiver or you writing to the caregiver to check up on the child's status, or sending rremittances to support the child
