@Guillaumette Mbathas the interview is scheduled based on the availability at the embassy you are interviewing and visa preference. Although spouse of U.S citizens are immediate relatives and do not have to wait for visa number. some countries have tremendous backlogs. The bigger the population, the bigger the backlog because more people ade applying. NVC can not schedule if embassy has no availability.
