Uploading Evidence
I've applied for an I-130, my husband is a US citizen and I'm overseas.
our application is actively reviewing since March, submitted in January. however we didn't upload any proof of bona-fide marriage at the time that we submitted our application.
should we wait for an RFE or upload whatever we can as unsolicited evidence in the online account?
are there any drawbacks to uploading evidence on your own without being asked?

u can upload it rather than waiting for them to ask u for it. they’ll see it when they’re actually working on the case

@AR P you have to wait for them to ask you for whatever document they want so as not to slow down your case by yourself... be patient for uscis RFE ...

on the online account it states that you don’t have to wait

don’t upload them, this will slow down your case process, wait till you get an RFE, and once you response you will see a decision.
I got an RFE on July18 , respond on the 20th and got approved the same day.

I saved myself from a potential RFE by uploading the I-130A online. Do it. It will save you a lot of time.
