Hi friends, the agent told me to wait till November to ask any questions on updates even though we had our interview last Monday. We had applied concurrently in May 2023 but I was on OPT and got my EAD through that so I didnt apply for an EAD with the adjustment application. (what an idiot)
But I feel super paranoid because my progress time keeps changing from 2 months to 5 months to now 9 months all within a week of interview. The interview went well but the interviewer said she was not the final reviewer. We would get any updates online or in the mail. Its been a week and since my EAD expired in July I have not been able to work which is causing some issues. I just want to cry seeing everyone getting approved. I don’t know if I should apply for an EAD now just to wait 3-4 months like my last one.

just apply! you never know! mine got approved a few hours after my biometrics taken.

try not to stress!!! there’s literally SO many people that don’t get approved right after the interview. this is probably more common than not.

am OPT as well and my card expired. I have been waiting on the new one also and nothing. my progress went from 2 weeks to taking longer than expected, now it’s saying 4 months. i gave my employer the letter I received and was told that could not work I need the actual card in hand😭😭

@sassyb fields I have been on leave from work since July and its really getting annoying because even if I get an approval notice I could still at least go back to work.
