Update on your Case
Hi everyone,
One week ago, I received an alert saying “Update on your case.” I checked my two Apps and there was no update, I checked my official USCIS account, still nothing was updated. Please, has anyone experienced this before?
I’m worried, please someone should let me know.

Hi Lawfully users,
We want to address the recent confusion around case status notifications. Earlier today, USCIS appears to have made a bulk update that changed many case statuses to a message indicating that the case is still being processed, even though the update date remained the same.
Specifically, it looks like USCIS updated the title of one of its existing status messages, changing "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" to "Case Is Still Being Processed By USCIS."
While the meaning is largely the same, this change in wording is treated as a new message by our system, which is why you may have received a new notification even if there was no real update to your case.
To clarify, Lawfully displays case updates exactly as we receive them from USCIS, including both the message and the date.
There's no action needed on your part at this time. We'll continue to monitor this behavior and share any important updates with you.

yes I experienced this, I chatted with their online agent and it appears that I was scheduled for an interview but it took a while to update
