I watched on YouTube that the problem is the number of approved processes waiting for visa availability at the NVC, that in August there were more than 450K waiting for a visa to be assigned to them, I think that could be part of the problem in addition to the thousands of I-140 cases in process.

Average wait time is 11 months for Nebraska.

@JA RM Yes, they are prioritizing cases. (USCIS: USCIS service centers are now prioritizing the processing of Form I-140 petitions for which the Department of State Visa Bulletin shows that an immigrant visa is available. The visa bulletin, published monthly, lists available immigrant visas by priority date. USCIS uses the visa bulletin to determine the current visa categories and priority dates. Service centers have prioritized our adjudications so that we can focus on those cases that have visas available and can move related Form I-485 applications to the National Benefits Center. This prioritization supports the USCIS-wide effort to use all employment-based visas available in fiscal year 2023. It does not affect premium processed petitions, which we will manage in the associated time frame for premium processing service.”

@M E Not really much in our favor., Usually at the end of the fiscal year, which happens to be now., Doesn’t move much, but in October, we will see what’s happening without any speculations. We can only wait or go for PP, that for me makes no sense, as we are not current for the AOS or Consular. So for me is just waiting…
