upcoming interview
Hi everyone, I just wanted to share that for my upcoming interview, I plan to bring my attorney with me. I think it’s a good idea because the attorney can make sure everything goes smoothly and help if any legal questions come up. Has anyone else here taken their attorney along?

Are there questions you are worried about? if your case is pretty straightforward then you shouldn't need a lawyer

@Jay N it’s approved in 2022 only
PD: Oct 2021Sep 5, 2025
@PD 27may 2021 . I believe you need a recent Supp J tho.

@PD 27may 2021 I believe lawyer is not necessary unless your case is complicated. the interview is pretty straightforward, you just have to be honest. check my post for my recent experience.

@PD 27may 2021 don’t waste your money for attorney, spend $1000 for sit and look at you with few simple questions. Uscis don’t care you have attorney or not, the interview only you and uscis officer. Good luck. I did my interview and got approved after 2 days, don’t need attorney!
Mark WhiteSep 5, 2025
@PD 27may 2021 ask yourself these questions. Have you ever violated your prior status? Do you have any criminal convictions? If no then taking a lawyer is just waste of money. Majority of us are law abiding people and will have no issues during interview. Good luck!

@Mark White could you please share your interview experience what was asked and what you answered?

@Mark White I think the biggest fear now is because people that have been waiting for 3/4 years and started to work in skilled jobs are scary to get denied after the second interview because many lawyers keep saying it’s a reason to denial
Mark WhiteSep 7, 2025
@GB B honestly I am working a skilled job and have not worked for my sponsor yet. My interview process was smooth and the office did not have much questions apart from my earlier immigration status. My only question is how would the officer know that you have worked a skilled job without you mentioning it?

@Mark White I think they know before interview maybe they run a check through verify?
