Hi, could you please answer my question? I have been seeing replies on the posts, and those are really helpful.I want to ask, Next year I will be filing for N400 citizenship under three-year rules. Since I got a GC, I was unemployed and just got a job. I didn’t file any taxes as I was unemployed. Now I will file the taxes next year and file for citizenship.Will there be any problems? Although my wife has been filing taxes jointly, I never worked. Plz answer Thank you.

this is a hard question to answer but i will take a shot as long as you filed jointly i shouldnt see a problem .but lets see what other say

When I got my greencard first year, I wasn't working but my husband filed Jointly so it doesn't affect anything. Just Request your wife tax transcript for the pass three year to confirm your name on it and it said Jointly.

I've had green card until it expired and I've only held 1 w2 ( only wotked 2 weeksto keep my license alive). however every year my Husband and I file jointly.
