Sal SalApr 14, 2022
@my time is coming did you ever work unauthorized?
Sal SalApr 14, 2022
@br they can’t know if the jobs were under the table but if you used ur ssn they can always verify
My time is Coming 😭🥲Apr 14, 2022
@giftency no i am married to a USC
My time is Coming 😭🥲Apr 14, 2022
@gift it doesnt matter under the table or if they used their SSN it is not forgiven for someone who is married to a LPR they will have to tell the truth reguardless because the officer will make you raise your right hand to say oath

@user07782, exactly well said. about going back to check ur I-9, uscis mostly would not do that but doesn’t mean they can’t. lol if they did most immigrants who worked unauthorized that I know wouldn’t get a green card cuz most usually tick yes that they are a us citizen on their I-9. obviously they lie when they apply for their i485 lol. I heard a friend who use to work at fast food places unauthorized and am sure he always choose yes to the citizen question on his I-9, but when he was filing his i484 his lawyer advised him not to pick yes since he might face a ban(unethical advise😂😂). dude became a citizen last may, 4 years after getting his green card. the truth is that uscis does not always hv all the means to verify ur yes/no answers but you can always come in contact with an overzealous officer who will make calls to see if you did that. but they rarely do. they mainly just focus on the ibis check, fbi fingerprint and fbi name check. and whatever is already contained in ur A file

I just asked my friend who is an IO if he ever calls former employer to see if the applicant ever claimed to be a citizen, he said in his 4 years of been an IO officer he has never called to check that. said he has only had a case like that of false claim to citizenship when the applicant was once apprehended at the boarder and he lied to cbp and that was put into his A file. that’s only when he has had to deal with that, he said they mostly just focus on criminal issues as per director’s instructions. says uscis would usually take you for ur word until proven otherwise.@user07782 you are right cuz you said sometimes

@user 07782 and @giftency545 thanks for your inputs thankfully never act as an usc. do you know what happens when they deny aos? do they allow you to go thru consular processing in your home country?

we got a bigger issue here if you over stay your visiting visa and even tho you got married if its not to a USA citizen thats too can cause your cause to be denied also about the work thing I wouldn't advise you to lie tell the truth also have your spouse submitted for there residency @br.
