UK citizen married to US citizen waiting for approval.
I did chat with a live agent and was told my interview is waived and my case is progressing at National Benefit Centre. My question is how accurate these agents are and also Do they still send it to local Field office or NBC can make a decision? Thank you and wish you all good luck 👍

I’m in same situation but another 150 days past you. I was told by an Emma once that it doesn’t need to go to a field office. but we shall see… today it’s a year

trump made a requirement that all cases go to the field office. wether you realize it or not (cause not always is notified) your case HAS to go to the field office. there, the agents that gets the case can either agree with NBC and wave the interview, or not. so just bc it’s waved at nbc doesn’t mean interview is waved. next time ask who waved the interview (NBC or FO). then, case is sent back with a decision to NBC, who issues approval letter. that’s why some people think their case didn’t go to FO.
