I submitted mine the same time as well, December 17, received the receipt on January 08 and then the Prima Facie on February 18. Also a case transfer February 28. No more updates since. 😭😭

same here guys on timeline! did you all apply to a C9 EAD? I have not but plan to these coming weeks just in case.

@S c yes I filed for ead at the same time I filed for i485. are you planning on getting a combo card?

@a c No I’m doing vawa. Prima facie is basically them saying that the case meets the requirements and that they’re going to do a more detailed investigation. It also comes with certain benefits.

@a c no just the C9 EAD. Do you happen to know if you had to pay a filing fee to USCIS? I didn’t have to pay for the Form I-485 filing fee under U Nonimmigrant status for reference.

@a c looks like you got your EAD in less than 4 months, congrats!! I’m praying I get it before 5 months as I do not want to stop working and I just landed my dream job 😭

@S c no, I didn’t have to pay for i485, ead or i131. but I haven’t received my i131

What documents did you submitted when applying for green card through U visa? Can you please share? Do you need to submit income paystubs to prove that you are employed?

yes. everything. tax, proof of living in the us. I am a derivative so I also had to prove proof of marriage

I submitted my application in December of 2023, so far only i765 was approved fingerprint was reused as well. In September of 2024 I got a message saying Initial review but since then nothing.
