Trying to Upgrate from F2A to IR1
has anybody here successfully updated their case from F2A to IR1 ?? how did you do it ?
my husband because a USC recently and I’ve been trying to update my category.
1. sent a letter by mail with naturalization certificate.
2. updated the letter and certificate on my online account.
3.made 2 service request online.
4. talked over the phone with a USCIS agent and made a 3rd service request, but I think she didn’t understand what I needed….
well… none of these things have worked. any suggestions????

I did the same thing as you. I became a us citizen in October 2023 and they finally updated my status in 01/23/24. you have to keep calling them and make sure they do the update. usually you have to give them 30 days after you make the request.
