tried writing to congress for expedite and ....
they sent a letter saying they are processing normal times and I need to wait even though I provided evidence. expedite was rejected the website says 3 weeks but everyone saying it doesn't work and not accurate I read so many people saying writing to congress helped and to be fair congress office was very very helpful and responsive but sadly immigration office in Vermont have no heart and it sucks what's worse is I'm flying back to country to see husband for two weeks then need to be separated again for god knows how long ugh.... sending prayers and hoping my husband can come home soon 😢#congress #expediterequest

sadly, congressional Representatives don't do much. I think there are a lot of factors. The personal values of the Congressman (there are a lot who are anti immigrant. It also depends a great deal on the timing. the election is now over. You also have two Senators that represent you. Have you tried them? unfortunately a congressman or senator (members of the legislative branch) have no real power over USCIS (DHS)or Department of State. They are departments in the executive branch. So they just simply relay to you the same BS that USCIS gave to them.
