Travelling to Puerto Rico
Hello, I have to travel to Puerto Rico for work but my i485 and advance parole are still pending. I have my EAD and my driver license, do you know if I can travel? im scared

You can absolutely travel to PR without any issues with your Driver License! it’s US territory, so no CBP for immigration check.

Noooo, you can’t! beacause Puerto Rico is not a state of the United States. Believe me, you can’t!! You will be able to leave but you will not be able to enter again because it counts as if you had abandoned your case. You can go to Hawaii because Hawaii is a state of the USA.

it’s ok you can go! I been there in Feb this year. Ashlee pending was my status. you need only valid driver license.

@Claudia Miranda Please get legal advice. Remember CBP agents do their do diligence base upon own knowledge and experience. sometimes people get lucky others not so lucky. all cases are different and base on each individual actions and records. You will be more protected traveling with your AP instead of your DL alone. I hope you take the best option for you. best of luck✨️🙏

My lawyer says there is no problem i only habe to tale copies of my papers from USCIS just in case but im still scared 😭
