Traveling WITHIN the US
# Hi everyone ☀️ my case is still “actively in process” since December 2021. I am wondering if I can fly within the US without trouble? (I know I can’t leave the country) It’s about flying from California to Florida in July to see Family/ Friends for the first time in years! Can I fly with my German passport or will I might get in trouble? thanks a lot 💐

Of course you can. Your passport or state ID is enough.

Not sure why the first commentor is fear mongering but yeah ofcourse you can travel domestically with either an id (such as dl) or passport.

Yes you can travel with your German passport. The agent only checks your ID to make sure the name matches what is on your ticket.

all you need is an ID, driver’s license or state ID even if expired (not more than a year) I travel all the time from Nebraska to Florida with my expired temporary driver’s license
