I just arrived today from traveling abroad for 16 days in Mexico. This was the first time I used my combo card since it was issued in May 2024. Upon my arrival, I presented my national passport along with my combo card. The officer asked for my approval notices. Then I did biometrics. He told me to wait in secondary until my name is called. I waited for no more than 5 minutes when an officer called my name. I went up to them then he said I’m free to go while giving me my stamped passport. I also have a EWI. Don’t be scared. I was afraid as well when coming back due to reading online but it only fed fears. I ignored the fear and it went well. I’m planning on visiting Mexico this December again.

i travel and got bak with my combo card . its suuuuuuper easy !

he will be fine . but tell him not to go for too long . and that he should keep an eye on his case. my i-485 got denied 3 days after i left the us . only God knows what would have happened to me if it got denied even the day before my flight! but yeah it's safe and easy to travel with an advance parole , the agents at the airport did not even ask me questions , they just looked at the card and that's it!

i traveled 4 times in 2 years very safe. jfk new york

update :My friend traveled and came back to the USA ,,went to secondary inspection and they just gave her passport back not a single question. Thank you all It's safe for now but we don't know what will be outcome once President Trump will take over.
