puerto rico is a us territory, there is no immigration control, the only additional control is the inspection of the bags. I have traveled recently with AP, but they only ask for passport or real ID at the registration

I have only travelled once outside US with AP (last summer). I did not have any issues, the only difficulty was at Paris ariport at the registration desk: it took them some time to figure out my paperwork. The company was Delta and eventually once they called CBP in JFK I was cleared and they let me go.

the only thing you need to fly to puerto rico is your passport or real ID. You can also check with the airline company. I am a religious worker

Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, so travel there from the mainland is considered domestic travel. You are not leaving the United States, and advance parole is generally not required just to visit Puerto Rico. However, an approved I-360 alone does not automatically give lawful status. If you also have a pending I-485 or another valid status, domestic travel is generally fine. You should carry your I-360 approval notice, I-485 receipt if applicable, and valid government ID. If you do not have a pending adjustment or other lawful status, it is safer to speak with an immigration attorney before traveling. - Attorney Ana Gabriela Urizar (All information shared here is for general educational purposes only.
