You can travel out of the country but your coming back is not guarantee because it depends on the decision of the immigration officer at the port of entry. in this current administration is not advicable to travel to some countries that are under Trumps watch. I stand to be corrected countries like India, China, Philippine, Jamaica, Nigeria and few Islamic countries are among. speak to your lawyer.

I traveled few times in two years in the previous Trump era, don’t worry and go, attorneys will keep scaring you.

@D K i got a combo card and an AP approval letter. what all the documents i need to take with me?

no one asked me about the approval letter just put it in your handbag, card is good they will take you in the secondary for few minutes to do entry and u will be good to go @Neel k

@Neel k but I heard they don’t issue combo cards anymore I just got my EAD approved so that means I will get a combo card?

@D K thanks for the info i got my combo card around mid of last month. they first approved my EAD then after somedays i got notification for AP aprroved. then like couple days after they sent me the combo card. i think you going to get a combo

@Neel k take the approval letter with you . they asked me and but i only had the combo card with me . it is itself enough too but isn't it nice to have everything ready when they ask . Enjoy your trip !

i came back on May 2024 from Los Angeles Airport .

but every case is different and unique . I have no idea how the current situation, so i would wait a bit and see . I believe it all depends on the officer. i had a very nice officer.
