I’m planning to travel outside US this December and come back January. i’m waiting for my I-485 but have a valid combo card (ead+advance parole). has anyone recently traveled outside with the same case and how’s the immigration process? thanks!

@F R I have AP for 5 years . just returned from Mexico on AP, through the airport in Dallas. Then me and other people with AP were kept in a room for 2.5 hours (previously 20-30
minutes) I had a transfer to another flight for 3 hours and 45 minutes and I didn't make it to my flight! The officer explained to me that the rules had changed

It will be okay. But make sure you give yourself plenty of time in case the secondary inspections take a long time. I had to wait for over 2 hours, and missed my initial flight.

they just take fingerprints and picture when you enter . I don’t know if it is everyone you enter on AP but certainly for the first time.
