hey guys ,I have a quick question..I live in the state of Texas and my case is pending y work authorization expired and I was sent 6 months extension ,but I haven't been able to renew my DL , because the DPS office is doing a second verification on me before renewing My DL..but my Question is I wanna travel domestically,is it advisable to do that since my DL has expired since October?

Not legal advice but I think even with your expired foreign passport you can travel Domestically. I know of a friend that traveled to Florida and back to Texas two weeks ago with an expired foreign passport.

domestically yes. take the letter as a back up. the DL is valid for travel for 6 months after. they can also fly you with no ID it's just a lengthy screening process at TSA as a back up. your attorney will likely say stay home as a precaution.
