@Alliah Thamas La verdad es muy facil ya que solo te preguntan cosas que ya deberias saber de tu pareja, en mi caso solo me preguntaron 4 o 5 preguntas y fue todo; lo unico fue que entre a las 7 de la mañana y sali casi a la 1 de la tarde ya que se toman su tiempo para ver las carpetas de los de visa para residencia antes de hacerte las preguntas. En mi opinion te preguntan de acuerdo a que tanta pruebas enviaste en tu formulario

@Alliah Thamas tu pregunta es que si el mismo dia que tuve la entrevista me dieron la visa? si es es así, la entrevista la tuve el 26 de febrero y la visa la pude reclamar el 29 de febrero que me llegó el correo electrónico diciendo que ya estaba lista

@JD L Yeah buddy, you must wait to get your instructions if you schedule your interview without getting the instructions you will not be able to get your interview since you need the screenshot of your instructions

Buddy, how long ago did you get your welcome letter? About the medical exam. yeah you must do it about 5 or 7 days before your interview since the exam just has something as a week of validity as you can see on my timeline I did my medical 6 days before and my ASC 4 days before. and I even got my visa and flew to the U.S. over the following three days of my Visa interview. just with your instructions, everything can go so fast

@Rossemverth Morningstar I got my welcome letter (K1-FPT) on May 7. Then May 8 status changed to “ready”. No email yet from Embassy. I’m just so confused because some people say you must wait for email, others say you don’t have to wait. I want to know how exactly happened to you because my case is also Bogota, Colombia.

@Rossemverth Morningstar About your timeline… You say your case said “ready” and 26 days after that you already had interview. but now you say that it took a month after case was ready to receive instruction. I’m confused, please help me man.

@JD L My bad buddy, where it says “Case Ready” is actually when I got my instructions. So don't worry about that. I got ready a longer time before that. However, yeah as soon as you get your instructions everything shall go as fast as you want. I guess that you have to get yours by the end of this month or the first days of June.

the petitioner is the one who will get the email, btw.

Jul 31 biometrics and Aug 1 interview? that's ok. Nevertheless, your medical is so close to the other dates since you shall have to go to the next one to pick it up. So, if you for some reason cannot pick it up on time you will not be able to go to your interview

about to pick it up if you didn't pay for delivery you're going to have to go to pick your visa up by yourself but to do that you have to wait until you get the email that says that your visa is ready to pick up since if you go there without the email you won't be able to. I know since I tried to do that. the email will say that you have to book an appointment to pick it up. However, you can go just with the email and say that you didn't know about that

I had to be there for a few hours since there are about 5-6 processes to do (they are not a big deal). Nevertheless, all of them are close. Perhaps your fiancee will have to be there for around 5 hours. Also, your fiance has to pick the exam up the next day. only the worker at the embassy of the united states can open that exam file on the interview day, Btw.

Yeah, everything is done on the same day. Only the pick-up is on the next day. The pickup is not even 15 minutes.

you can do it if you want to but in my case, I wanted to wait. I did that here in the US

@Rossemverth Morningstar hey man, medical went well for my fiance today. she has ASC interview on the 20th and doctor said he will have her medical ready the same day in the afternoon. the question is: Did you need the medical paperwork for the ASC appointment or only for the Interview appointment? I’m a little worried..

That medical file is just for the interview appointment. Remember do not open it.

That's right buddy. You just need it for the interview appointment. When she gets approved for her K1 visa they are going to give her the medical folder sealed back again. She cannot open it. It is for the Customs and immigration officer when she arrives in The US. So don't forget that. Nobody can open it at any time but the Officers.

@Rossemverth Morningstar hey brother. my fiance picked up medicals today. She got the sealed envelope, and one more document with her vaccines record, even tho she decided not to do vaccines in Colombia. interview is tomorrow. when you entered the USA 🇺🇸, which documents did they ask you for?

hola, espero que estés bien, tengo una pregunta, estoy en un proceso de EN2 NiW en Colombia, estoy a la espera de fecha de prioridad que es junio de 2023, mi pregunta es sobre el tiempo que demora la asignación de entrevista consular en Bogotá, ya que en unas partes me dice que la asignación de la entrevista demora entre 6 a 12 meses pero veo que en tu caso fue muy rápido
