well, they denied this the first time and my lawyer went ahead and refiled and Ching Ching! USCIS have bipolar issues let me tell ya. I currently have a green card they gave me by mistake according to them, so this is basically something I’ll use if and so I don’t have the new green card at hand. I’ve been in this journey for over 20years back and forth and I pray to the Lord everything u folds as it should. hang in there I know the pain, been there and still at it, just keep pushing forward and press on

it is truly a long process. I have a quick question. I filed I-130 on my own. thinking of doing the I-765 should I wait for a response for the I-130?. I have not applied for I-485 because I have been married for 6 months and was thinking of waiting for a bit

@Melissa F you can’t file i765 unless you have a pending i485

@Melissa F I would say file the I765, the less questions from USCIS, the less time they’ll take to process. basically give them everything and file for all you need in one shot. as far as the I485, how long have you known your spouse for?

@Melissa F waiting makes no sense. not having a lot of proof of marriage is an issue for the 130… not the 485.

and yes @Mona 🇯🇲🇱🇷 is right completely forgot the i765 is attached to the i485. so @Melissa F go for it, you got this I believe you have enough proof. it would’ve been a red flag if you guys met and married 2-3 months later
