I applied for i730 August 2024. still waiting it’s probably too early for me though

i waiteda total of 17 months for the i-730 process in the usa outside i believe its longer

congratulations. my husband applied for us 6 June 2024, we get approved 17 September, case sent to NVC 25 November, still waiting for welcome letter , we are outside USA.

@God Bless America yeah, I had the interview on Nov.20th but the uscis doesn’t post updates online. better wait for mails than the online tracking

@Yeah Cool I see. now that you have asylum status you can apply for green card, refugee travel document, unrestricted social security card, work permit though it’s optional.

wow its so fast we are waiting for approval from April 2021 😓

my husband applied for us July 18 2023 and we were approved Oct 25 2023. Case was send to NVC on Oct 30 but there was alot of backlog in my embassy. We did series of inquiries to both NVC and embassy.

my husband wrote to his congress woman in June and finally July 1st 2024 we received our interview package.We booked our interview in Oct 16 2024 which was the earliest date. Our visas were issued Oct 24,2024 . We are in the states now. Best of Luck to everyone who is still in process.

@Pella Ricardo congratulations. after case was sent to department of state.did you receive welcome letter? or embassy contact you direct? ours was sent to Department of state 10days now and no welcome letter.

@H. H there is a public inquiry form in the department of state website. Do a public inquiry to the department of state and ask for your case number and also ask them if there still have your case .After NVC have replied you with your case number , You can then write the embassy and ask about your case using the number NVC gives you

@H. H from here now it all depends on your embassy backlog and how long it takes for them to schedule interviews. We had to wait for long because our embassy was backlog and i730 interview are done once every month

@Pella Ricardo sorry for disturbing, but I have Q did you schedule appointment by your self? or embassy give you the date. because embassy send for us link to schedule appointment but I can’t. all the time show “system busy try another time “

@H. H I scheduled my interview myself. The embassy send me the package and I scheduled my interview. Keep refreshing the page

@Khan 804 the embassy sends you the interview package . that is the only way can schedule the interview

@Khan 804 Since you have information from NVC,you can use that to write the embassy asking about your case.

@Khan 804 Just be patient and write the embassy again after 2weeks.

@Khan 804 You have to understand that, there might be a backlog in your embassy. My case was approved in October 2023 and I received my interview package from the embassy in July of 2024.

Also something we think helped push our case was our congresswoman. That is because after we wrote her, after few days we received the interview package. You might try to write to your congress person too
