I overstayed my visa; my dad (green card holder at the time ) petitioned me but got denied for my overstay

ok congratulations 🍾🎉! I got denied because l overstayed but my lawyer just submitted a motion to reconsider because l am married to a USC. Praying l get approved soon. This wait is too long and depressing. l need to start working.
