by the way, where’s that guy who was nagging at us when we’re optimistic and looking forward for a positive movement in VB and always saying it’ll retrogress and won’t get better at all.

@Mohammad Matalkah Im here, maybe you should read my comments again. I said there is a chance of retrogression too and you are hiping here about EB3 which still has a 18 month backlog so what is that you are so raving about? Instead of 24 month its now 18 month.

guys I never agreed with his analysis but there was a very very very small chance it was possible. remember it's USCIS we talking about but I would make no sense to retrogress yet. Data won't support this. Also a 18 month retrogression is basically current for an eb-3 perm applicants. Given that the perm process is taking 18-24 months to be approved. so basically if you file the perm today in 18 months from now that perm will be approved by then that PD would be current. This situation only holds true if timeline doesn't increase which is possible. but for now a win is a win. happy holiday everyone.

I sincerely worry for you @German Refugee , the immigrant games is usually a very stressful one , most of the time all we have to hold on to is blind hope, cause that’s the only way to push through
. I hope you can try to balance in more optimism in your logic regardless of it being lt being logical or not , reality doesn’t matter as much as what we take from it

I agree with @hello mark . Frankly speaking when I was in PERM process I didn’t even take a glance at the VB. It was useless until I got formal I-797 form with my “official” PD on the upper left column. The Visa Bulletin matters from this time. All I checked periodically is the updates from the DoL website and prayed my case is approved timely without audit. Trust me being your case audited causes more stress than VB retrogression.
Again don’t let this data ruin your normal life. Maintaining legal status until I-485 filed could be the top priority.

it’s better to be optimistic rather than having an overflowing negativity in your thought and as a human being like this German R! During hard times like this, and all this retrogreesion, what we can do is to have faith that it will all turns well. I am sending good vibes that all our PD will be current soon😄😄😄
