wow this took so long, I truly think that vawa cases should be priority because of the situation the people are in.
I’ve only applied July 2023 at Nebraska and it was transferred to Vermont. I have some waiting to do based on your timeline 🤦♀️

@Ray Bless I agree with you, I feel Vawa cases are put on the back burner. I even think mine was forgotten about until I contacted my congressman they sent off an inquiry Oct 31 2022 and then about 1 month after I got my first Prima Facie and then today my EAD approved!!! So I like to think that helped a bit to get it moving a bit!!! Remember all cases are different yours could move faster then what mine is!!! Good luck on your journey my friend!!!

@cesar Zuniga Why took your case so long time? The work permit of other Vawa clients approved within 8 to 9 months. Why is it taking so long for you? And what was the rfe did you get in 765? What did the Congress man say to you, why did over processing happen? please share

@be positive ☺️ I have no idea why mines is taking so long, I ask my lawyer the same question all the time and she just says everyone’s case is different. I really think mine was forgotten about lol. The rfe was for recent passport photos because mine were older then 3 months by the time the got to them. (Thier fault not mine I sent recents and they took forever to get to them) When I reached out to my congressman he had me fill out form giving him permission to get info on my case he sent an expedite request for my I360 but that was denied which I was ok with because I understand I have to wait, I just wanted to get my case moving again and get my EAD and AP I’m willing to wait for everything else. It seems like contacting him worked because about a month later I got my first PF and now thank God my EAD!!!
