Thank God Almighty, finally Greened. 3 years +
Thank God Almighty. Long process, but took it with patience. 3 years roughly for i140 EB2 NIW Texas, and 5 months after that for Green card. Applied concurrently with my wife, we got it at the same time. No interview. Received card 9 days after the announcement of “your card is being produced”
Because 2 years had passed since our medicals, we got a RFE for medicals and we quickly and gladly repeated them, because we knew it was the prelude for approval. Received approval after two weeks of receipt by USCIS.
At some point I raised a service request, but received the typical generic response as everybody else.
The i485 case remained in Texas all the time until the I140 approval, after a few days it moved to the National Benefits Center and when we received the RFE for medicals we noticed it came from California. The case never updated about the transfer to California, and never updated about the RFE for medicals or receipt of the RFE.
There was no premium processing at the time of applying back in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic.

@Y H The i485 case remained in Texas all the time until the I140 approval, after a few days it moved to the National Benefits Center and when we received the RFE for medicals it came from California.
